It took over three weeks to restore this buffet which was purchased in the 1940’s by my mother… It is Mahogany and was stained in the typical style of the period, a black rubbed finish that covered all of the grain in the wood.
Now the beauty of the wood is evident, exposing the marbled look of the inlay that was placed on the top of this piece
